Small-group Himalayan expeditions across Himachal Pradesh — from the 5,319 m Pin Parvati Pass to the hot springs of Kheerganga. Certified leaders, real mountains, no shortcuts.
Monk Trails is run out of Shimla by people who grew up in these valleys. We keep group sizes between 8 and 14 so that every trekker gets a leader's attention on the difficult sections.
Every expedition carries a certified trek leader, a full first aid kit with BP machine, thermometer and oximeter, and an emergency oxygen cylinder. Permits, camps, meals and support staff are all included in the trek fee.
We run five routes, from an easy two-day walk to hot springs right up to a nine-day glaciated pass crossing into Spiti. Start wherever your legs are today.

96 km of walking over nine days, with glacier traverses, a technical snow section on summit day and a tricky Pin River crossing. Graded very difficult, best done between July and September.
Exactly what your trek fee covers, and what it does not. No surprises at the road head.
